About SKM
SKM is an independent mobile car inspection service based in Dubai. We inspect used cars at the seller’s location and give the buyer a clear, evidence-backed report before any money changes hands.
What we do
Buying a used car in the UAE usually means trusting a stranger’s description of it. A seller has every reason to present the car well, and a short test drive rarely reveals what sits underneath the paint or inside the control modules.
SKM exists to close that gap. We carry out a structured inspection on the car you are considering, document what we find with readings and photographs, and explain it in language you can act on. We are not connected to the seller, the dealership or any garage, so the report says what the car is actually like.
How we work
Our findings go to you, not to the person selling the car. Nobody pays us to reach a particular conclusion.
Where something matters, it is photographed or measured. You see what the technician saw.
A report is only useful if you can understand it. We explain what a finding means and how urgent it is.
Every car goes through the same structured sequence, so nothing important depends on the technician’s memory.
Our method
No workshop booking, no moving the car, no waiting around.
Make, model, year, where it’s parked, and the seller’s contact if you’d like us to arrange access.
We confirm the slot with you and coordinate directly with the seller. You’re welcome to attend, but you don’t have to.
Our technician works through the checklist at the car, taking readings and photographs as they go.
A digital report with findings, photos and repair priorities. We’ll talk you through anything that isn’t clear.
Being straight with you
We would rather set expectations honestly than oversell what a single visit can achieve.
Anything we could not check, and why, is stated plainly in your report rather than left out.
Where we work
Most of our work is in Dubai, at private homes, dealerships, showrooms and office car parks. We also travel to Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and the northern emirates. Tell us where the car is and we’ll confirm the earliest slot we can reach it.
